Overview:
Tomorrow Square - a futuristic building completed around 2003 located in Shanghai, China. I’m calling this BAT a ‘partial’ recreation because several aspects of the model differ from the real world building, mainly around the base. The main part of the tower, its shape, size and proportions however remain true to the real structure.

I’ve included a Dark truNite model for day/night mod users in addition to a regular Maxis truNite model for those who don’t.

In this download there are three versions included.

• Growable stage 8 CO§§ providing 2577 medium wealth jobs.
• Plopable functional CO§§ providing 6695 medium wealth jobs.
• Plopable static landmark.

The stats are as follows:

Dependencies:
These are the files you need for these lots to be able to function in the game…

• None!

Installation:
Day/night mod users extract Tomorrow Square (Dark).SC4Model (essential model file) and your choices of any of the three versions above into your C:/My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder.
Regular users extract Tomorrow Square (Maxis).SC4Model (essential model file) and your choices of any of the three versions above into your C:/My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder.

This is one of my older buildings, hence the big lack of roof junk. Both ploppable and growable lot included in the zip. Other than that I can only say that I pretty much like the main design of this one; this is one of those buildings on which I've spent more time designing the main shape than adding intricate details. Yet, it turned out nice enough so here it is, and enjoy!

The Pine Valley Shopping Mall Lot was initially inspired by the layout of the Del Mar Highlands Shopping Center in the oh-so-pretty Pacific suburb of Del Mar near San Diego, California. Many thanks go to Jack Wilds for the inspiration of naming the lot.

These malls seem to eschew the earlier mall concept of a single, massive internal space in favour creating a mini, albeit uniform central 'town' district feeling with many commercial services scattered around open air spaces, trees and large, multiple parking lot areas.

Pine Valley Mall is no different: its uniformity is derived from a fusion style of architecture. Using rubble course-work and ochre rendered walls reminisces the Adobe style but gives nod to the Californian outdoor climate with metal lattice breezeways, balconies and wide loggias.

This ploppable mega lot weighs in at a massive 16x16 and is suitable for both CAM and non-CAM players alike.

While it may take up some serious real estate, it is a medium wealth Commercial Services lot and provides 13,159 CS$$ jobs. Be ABSOLUTELY certain that you have sufficient demand in your city and region BEFORE plopping this lot.

Each of the buildings on this mega lot will also be released as seperate growable lots which will complement the main mega lot and enable you to build a modular mall. (I would recommend using one of the many Buggis Extra Cheats files uploaded onto Simtropolis if you wish to do this).

It is also important to note that mega lots suffer from SERIOUS crime. To counter this, I have Network-enabled the lot (you should connect it using the street tool) but it would also be advisable to have a high capacity police station nearby. The Pittsfield, New Hampshire Police Station has been made with the PIM-X and enables officers to access the lot more deeply and effectively fight the sort of crime that plagues mega lots. It has been designed to blend in with suburban applications and I would recommend downloading it, or a similarly modded police station.

The values assigned to the models and lots have been created with the PIM-X and are suitable for both SC4 rush hour and CAM.
