Sorry I cannot input Chinese.<br /><br />Another way to manipulate the RCI is to develop the neighbourhood city. I think it's very important especially when you want to build a city accroding to your own wish rather than the demand. <br /><br />For example, if your are building a residential only city, you have to build industrial or commercial neighbourhood city around it so that the RCI can be balanced globely. Usually you can zone as much area as you like until the green R demand goes to negative. Then save the city, quit to the big area, switch to a neighbour industrial/commercial city, zone large industrial/commercial area and develop until the demand goes to negative. Then switch back to the residential city again. You will find the R demand growing dramatically at this moment. Then you can zone more area or develop medium/high density area. I tried this with my cites. It works pretty good and I can build citise of the type I want them to be. |
