Flood has come, flood has gone. People has yet to survive.
Of all the mountains surrounding the once Taipei basin,
there lies the Guan-Yin mountain, or, now the Guan-Yin Island.
Beneath the mountain, there is a lagoon,
After the devastating tsunami, survivors reached the shore of the Guan-Yin Island.
Guan-Yin, the all loving goddess, accepted all refugees to escape to her feet,
sheltered them with her own land,
Lest them grow crops again to feed.
Pineapple and lemon, fruited the terrace grounds,
On the hilly slope, farms was found.
The poor and the rich, all safe and sound,
Under the feet of the goddess, people gather around.
Behind the loving goddess mountain,
the terrain was yet to be soften.
Curvy roads leads to the cottage,
where the Saint was hidden.
Statue and the temple of the Goddess is built,
honoring the all loving Guan-yin,
with the donation of the believers,
